These two lovely Black-backed jackals (Canis mesomelas) were enjoying the early morning light at Klein Namutoni Waterhole in Etosha National Park, Namibia. They initially reminded me of my brother and me, until I read up on them later and found out that this species forms monogamous relationships that last for life. So I was probably dealing with a couple here.
