My girlfriend and I just returned from a three week city-trip/trekking holiday in Scotland. We spent some time in the cities and several days trekking and wild camping in the Cairngorms and Glen Affric each.

The picture shows Sophia emerging onto the plateau from Loch Avon in the last sunshine just before Storm Ali hit the area. We proceeded up Cairn Gorm where we were almost blown over, then sprinted down to the Ski Centre to luckily meet the owner of the last car in the car park who gave us a lift down into Glenmore.
