A weekend on Skye

Some time ago I spent a weekend on the Isle of Skye, reputedly one of the most beautiful places in Scotland, with my university’s outdoor club. We arrived late on Friday night and spent two nights in the most luxurious hut (meaning it had running water, mains electricity, and hot showers!) I have ever been to in Scotland, did some mountaineering in the Black Cuillins, and spent the Sunday at the Fairy Pools and the Old Man of Storr. I am not particularly inclined to write a whole trip report, so I will simply let the images speak for themselves. It is more of a collection of snapshots, to be honest, as the weekend was really more focused on sitting around the fire, mountaineering, lying on the beach watching the milky way and counting shooting stars …
