The second Weekly Image shows the light trails of cars on Parkes Way in the Australian capital Canberra. When I studied abroad in Australia my family came over in summer and brought over a tripod for a christmas present. A couple of weeks later I took it out to have a first attempt at photographing light trails and chose Parkes Way because it features abundant traffic, was close to campus and is spanned by a pedestrian bridge that serves as a perfect vantage point.
The image was taken with a Pentax K-r and DA L 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 lens at 30 sec., f/11, ISO 100, 28 mm (APS-C).
