Yes, this blog has been very quiet over the past months. No, I am not dead – still alive and going strong. The reasons I have not posted anything in over two months are a) laziness and b) business. After graduating from university in June I immediately commenced a two-month internship in research, then went on a month-long holiday in Germany that I mostly spent lazing around. Now that I am back in Scotland as a postgraduate student in medical research and the hiking season is about to begin, I can assure my readers that contributions to this blog will become much more frequent again, and you can look forward to more reviews, essays, trip reports and, of course, images!
